My Chemical Romance
My Chemical Romance is a music group from New Jersey, which was formed in September 2001 by Gerard Way and Matt Pelissier.Currently, the band was manned by Gerard Way (vocals), Mikey Way(bass), Ray Toro (lead guitar), Frank Lero (guitar) and Mike Pedicone(drums) who replaces Bob Bryar is the drummer before coming out in March of 2010. Band name was inspired by the book by Irvine Welsh, namely Ecstasy: Three Tales of Chemical Romance.
My Chemical Romance is a band which, according to media genre ofpop punk, post-hardcore, ”punk revival”, alternative rock. However, this group describes their music as music ”rock” or ”pop the rough”, andrefused to be classified as emo. The group has released four albumsthat I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love in 2002,Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge in 2004, The Black Parade in 2006and one more album launch is being prepared, namely Danger Days:the True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys which is scheduled to be released on 22 November.
The band got the inspiration from Queen, Black Flag, Iron Maiden, TheMisfits, Morissey, At the Gates, Pink Floyd, The Smashing Pumpkins,descendents, Pantera, The Cure and The Smiths. In addition toinspired, they also inspire a group of young people from Indonesia whofamiliarly called the SGW.
